Ājipfash Se

Ājipfash Se (/ˈəˑʤip/ /faʃ/ [concrete] [silver]) is a temperate Large Town located in Gisomeyaja Hold, Hievvàníhg Provence, within the Dalandic Empire.

The name Ājipfash Se is derived from the Tauric language, as Ājipfash Se was founded by Dyesí Llywellen Vaughes, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Ājipfash Se has a yearly average temperature of 25°C (77°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 23°C (73°F). Ājipfash Se receives an average of 138 cm/y (54 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Ājipfash Se covers an area of nearly 6 km² (2 mi²), and an average elevation of 5708 m (18727 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Ājipfash Se was founded durring the early 14th century in summer of the year 1314, by Dyesí Llywellen Vaughes. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Ājipfash Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ājipfash Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Ājipfash Se is buildings are arranged within a network of premissive cobblestone streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The town's peasent-grade are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.

Ājipfash Se has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Ājipfash Se’s streets. In spite of this, quite a few people can be seen reading and the town has an abundance of libraries. It’s quite clear the community values education.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Ājipfash Se's natural decorations nor waterways.

Ājipfash Se has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Ājipfash Se has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

The locals have cut a deal with some unspeakable entity, trading some form of tribute (benign of horrific) in exchange for the being’s forbearance or assistance. Outsiders may be ignorant of the bargain, or they may know that the community is in thrall but be too fearful of its master to take action against them. The creature likely serves as a protector as well as a tyrant, so the locals may be content with the deal even if it doesn’t offer any further inducement or aid.

Ājipfash Se's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used which employed abundant symbolic geometry, using pure forms such as the circle and square, and plans are based on often symmetrical layouts featuring rectangular courtyards and halls. These structures were is decorated with carved stone or stucco reliefs and made use of colorful stone mosaics..

In Ājipfash Se rain occurs in reverse with water pooling up from the earth then falling into the skies to from clouds, this unsettles every visitor that sees it.

The Gluttongrass near Ājipfash Se are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Ājipfash Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves gestures to channel Enchantment energies of tier 1 via recitation of poetic epics.
